Guest Guest Posted December 11, 2009 I like the way you go from foreground shadow to background light, which leads the eye nicely across the classic little bridge. The detail of the tree branches reads really well and provides a nice texture. The perspective, and therefore the converging parallel lines, is an almost sweeping gesture, adding movement to a stationary shot. Personally, I'm not fond of the graphic blackness in the foreground wood of the bridge. I'm not convinced that losing texture in those dark areas goes along with the vision here. Link to comment
shots worth sharing 1 Posted January 22, 2010 Thanks for the comment and apologies for the delay in responding. Of course, you're very on target with my intention (if such it may be called) here. The earthy foreground is a important element but I take your point about the loss of detail. Thanks for viewing! Link to comment
