Late Autumn Headwaters, Maryland

I really like this. The bareness and the patterns make for a pleasing photograph.

Thanks, Shawn! My friend, Dennis, and I took a bit of a hike the other day. It was late in the day, though, and I had low hopes of capturing the feel of the late autumn woods so I was rather pleased with this. For a combination of reasons, the focus is a bit softer than I'd like though--suffice it to say I wish I'd had a tripod with me.
