I included the original scene in the attachment in comment One. I took the photo of the moon during the same shoot, but it was on the wrong side of the sky, so I moved it to where I wanted it. There are many differences between the original and the submitted photo. There is no large light pole and no billboard in the submitted photo either.

Good photoshop work, it really helps the picture (both the billboard and the lightpost were pretty distracting).

 

The thing I like the most here is the color contrast and the way the diagonal leads my eyes through the image.

Nice job in realizing the potential of a drab photo. Tell me more about the vivid color mask?? No little alteration moving the moon, I'm down for taking out powerlines in PS..but the moon? Not sure how I feel about altering the character of the scene. Looks good though, makes you an artist. I know a great painter who became a painter because he was a frustrated photographer, guess he didn't have any of his work digital. Cheers!
