Man painting over graffiti

I'd actually taken a few shots of this interesting wall mural over prior

months then passing by one day came across this.

This photo is really excellent: it shows the bearded figure "vanishing" in the white paint. He's just about to "drown" and the dramatic expression in his eyes clearly tells it. Excellent: composition and cropping. Aesthetics = 7, Originality = 7.

Brilliant picture! Of course the mural is excellent, and the fact that you came by it just as this was happening -- and the fact that the worker left the face of the mural till the very last, was your ultimate luck... But, it enabled you to take this great picture, which totally screamed at me from the forum for help!

Agree with others. Something great was happening and you got it. Look at this, even the eyes of the guy have such a perfect angle to painter. That was your lucky day. lol

You achieved to give a true sense of drama to a "simple" daily life scene, Peter. Thanks to your excellent timing, the painted face in the upper right corner really looks scared of what is about to happen to him. A good example of street photography...
