Wayne Sadler 738 Posted November 12, 2009 Overwhelmed by nature's spectacle and the artistic calculus that considers both the realistic and the abstract where every limb or line or leaf or dot as an important element to be reconciled, it is difficult to be totally pleased with my efforts here. I would appreciate any comments and helpful critique. Link to comment
stp 6 Posted November 14, 2009 I think you're being too hard on yourself -- this is wonderful. "Normally" we might see the background trees with either the spindly tree in the center or the small tree with the yellow leaves on the right. You have them both, and I think they work very well together. It's nice to see a departure from the "expected." I also like the detail and color you've managed to retain in the immediate foreground. Nice work. Link to comment
Wayne Sadler 738 Posted November 16, 2009 Thanks, Stephen. In our quest for perfection, unfortunately, you and I and all we photographer/artists are probably too hard on ourselves - but that's what pushes us to do better and appreciate the critique and analysis of like artists. I really appreciate your critique. Link to comment
