Lovely composition Gail! Even the background is a work of art. Excellent use of DOF to isolate the subject. Exquisite image.

All the best,

Neil

Thankyou so much for your very kind words of critique....I always enjoy when I see your name on my page as you were one of the first people to ever rate me on PN....I still can't get over that 'painting' you did of the red rose.......just beautiful!!! warm regards, Gail

"Dance with me

I want to be your partner

Can't you see the music is just starting

Night is calling and I am falling

Dance with me"

sung by the Orleans

I am sure the songwriters (John Hall, etc) would be happy to see this beautiful image of yours as it represents what they're trying to say in the song. Great image, Gail. Regards! - Lester

Ah Lester, you know the song..........beautiful words, aren't they......I have loved that song for quie awhile.........and while editing this shot, I'd been humming the tune......then suddenly, I knew what I wanted to convey...this flower was large and delicate enough to 'handle the DANCE' so I thought I'd try it.

I must say though, you are far more adept at remembering the names of the 'writers.....and artist's' than I. Thankyou for offering that information, and for your kind words........very much appreciated.............see you on the DANCE FLOOR !!!!!...........cheers, Gail
