mdmoore-c 1 Posted November 10, 2009 I'm having a pretty significant image quality reduction when I post this one (and a few others) online. Does anyone know any tips to minimizing this issue? Comments and critique are also appreciated. Link to comment
witness 0 Posted November 11, 2009 Make sure you are resizing the files to 2.5MB or smaller before posting. Color management may be an issue as well. To simplify, the color profile should be sRGB from capture in camera to post processing programs etc. Color management is an overwhelming topic if not familiar with the concept. Check the learning center for info and don't hesitate to post questions in the forums. I did a quick curves adjustment and applied unsharp mask to increase sharpness....and increased saturation a tad. Does this look better? Link to comment
mdmoore-c 1 Posted November 11, 2009 Mark, thanks for the suggestions--I'll look into them. Yes, your version does look better, and more like what the photo looks like before I post it online. Thanks for you time! Link to comment
