Rushing Mist

On a magical day in the Smokey mountains, like a new photographer with

his first camera, everything seemed beautiful and worthy of exposure. I

knew I did not have the capability to do it justice. I would appreciate any

comments and critique.

Thanks Patsy, Mike and Ricardo. Good to know I didn't totally blow it. Sometimes the awesomeness of nature can make a photographer feel so inadequate.

I like the graduated clarity of this image, from the foaming white waters near the bottom of the image to the subdued autumn shades and mist in the upper half.

Thanks for noticing, Alf. I tried the graduated clarity with other images taken at the time without as much success - I made some bad focusing and post processing choices.
