phil_tunnicliffe 0 Posted November 11, 2009 I love the colours in this photograph, what a wonderful picture. I'm a big fan of trying out alternate croppings and I think you could improve the atmos and feel here by trying out other framings. Link to comment

aldorner 0 Posted November 11, 2009 I appreciate the comments. Thanks for the suugestions. Mark,I really didn't notice it was not level which is odd as I usually spot such things very quickly. Again thanks to each of you, Al Link to comment

aldorner 0 Posted November 12, 2009 Thanks for the comment. I seem to struggle with what people consider a good photograph, but I learn a lot on this site. Thanks again. Al Link to comment
thadley 15 Posted August 9, 2010 I hope I encounter scene like this this fall. Very nicely composed resulting in a beautiful image with depth - my eyes start on the foreground green grass and travel anti-clockwise to the foggy extension on the upper left. I know that i would have spent at least one hour here and come away with at least 6 or 7 different images. Link to comment
thadley 15 Posted August 9, 2010 Your image is excellent. No two artists see things the same way and I have done some dodge and burn, selectively reduced saturation in the red area. I was not there, so my change is simply for your consideration. best regards, Link to comment
aldorner 0 Posted August 10, 2010 Thanks for your input Tony. I did stay for a while and ended up with about five good shots of which I thought this was the best. I was taught long ago to move around as much as possible to get as many views as I can. Thanks again and please keep offering suggestions, I really appreciate it. Al Link to comment
