fred_vnoucek 0 Posted February 2, 2003 No digital Manipulation. Just a lucky shot, right moment at the right place and ready to go! Thanks for all comments, I appreciate! Link to comment
james_davison 0 Posted February 11, 2003 Just an amazing capture. The sharpness of the wave is totally overshadowed by the rather menacing shape of the shark...creepy, even thought I'm pretty sure those guys do little more than crack open urchins. Great shot. Update: I just did a bit of research and they're apparently rather dodgy to be around - they're known to be aggressive and attack people every so often. Neat... Link to comment
boudewijn_rombouts 0 Posted February 14, 2003 WOW - amazing capture. I'm somewhat of a shark guy myself - seen a thousand original shots of sharks, but this is definately a first. Love it. Nice work mate! Link to comment

._.9 0 Posted March 22, 2003 Fred you are amazing, from getting close to lions and tigers and bears now you're capturing the beauty of these legendary dangerous creatures. What is amazing is to see how close to the shore this shark is apparently caught in a wave. Stunning. Link to comment
briany 0 Posted April 10, 2003 What a Perfect capture of a unique situation. As noted above, the wave itself, just kissing the surface, is great in itself. Great looking colors.. just all around excellent. Link to comment
mg 0 Posted April 29, 2003 Ok, this is certainly an original subject - quite a rare occasion, I suppose. But the image quality is poor (very grainy). So, all in all, I'd say it's still good, but not great, and technically flawed - at least the scan. Regards. Link to comment
reillyphotography 0 Posted May 3, 2003 I'm commenting again because after reading Marc's comment I was wondering if you use a grain reduction program. At www.neatimage.com there's a free program that I think could help the grain in this image. I'm still amazed that you actually got this shot. Link to comment
