The exposure of this shot is simply spot on! I love B&W photos which run the whole range of sensitivity of the film (or the CCD in this case). Excellent choice in using the red filter too, very appropriate for darkening the sky. The thing that I wonder about though is the reflection. It looks very cool, but it's almost like there's just too much going on here. I wonder if a picture of just the sierras would've worked better, or if you had somehow managed to get some of the sky in the reflection as well. Just my 2 cents.

Last weekend I stumbled upon a masterwork of nature and tried to

capture it's beauty in this photograph. Your critique and rating is

appreciated.

This one grows on you...quickly. At first glance it appears that the lower left is too dark. However, now it really does not...I actually like the contrasts in this image. Would also love to see this in color! Another good one.

Georgeous tonality. Serene landscape image is so so until demonstration of masterful control in your printmaking. a good image became emotional.

Is something not right in your cerebellum?!?! Your crooked horizon here is way too distracting. Either visit a brain surgeon, buy a bubble level, or don't shoot when drunk! Exposure is fine.
