Certainly an eye-catching image, which is one of the main objectives of a good photograph. Interesting color and texture. My only question is why this image has a "fringe" in the neck and back of the head. The one at the top of the head bothers me a bit, but not as much as the one in the neck. There may be a reason for it which I don't know about, which could explain everything and make the whole image great and therefore justified.
