mexi 0 Posted January 31, 2003 This photois part of series of portraits I took from around the world, meant to be shown together. Does it stand Alone? Most of my other portraits get average rating on Photo.net. Link to comment

hayward 0 Posted February 1, 2003 Most excellent. Yes, it stands alone. I'd like to see white out on the left cloned out and the to see mroe light in the eyes. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted February 10, 2003 I understand Rana's request but if you ask for my opinion leave it as it is. It is a strong and beautiful capture. Link to comment
gareth_harper 0 Posted March 3, 2003 Beautiful portrait. Don't dare crop it. Is 100S, Kodak's velvia? Way oversaturated. Link to comment
mexi 0 Posted March 3, 2003 100S is similar to Velvia but emphasis on reds not blues. Link to comment
mg 0 Posted April 11, 2003 You asked whether this portrait can stand alone. I certainly think so. Composition is very good, expression too. A simple and lovely portrait. Yet, I would think that you should correct the colors of this upload. The face is too red to me - unless of course that was what you saw that day. Even then, I'd cut down on the red a little and dodge the face a little bit too. This white triangle bottom left would better not be there, but it's not very serious to me.Overall in this folder, I see quite a few nice face shots. You havea good eye for expressions, I think...Regards - and thanks for that one-liner on a picture that was important to me...:-) Link to comment
