Came across this old shot I'd always intended to submit. Was it worth keeping?

Yes, worth keeping! She'll love this photo when she sees it again. Great colors and contrast. Love how soft the background is, nice bokeh! The little blur on the hands are nice too I think. Her in action. Oh, love them Chucks! :)

There is complexity and fit here... and I love what you did with the framing, rather whimsical! It is worth mentioning that your sense of foreground, middleground, and background, and the integrated color palette, all work, which is probably mostly intuitive for you.

 

I think it's amusing that everything here would also work in the high fashion/glamour world. Think about redoing this setting in 10-15 years!

I love the colors, and her expression is great. It's so nice to see a natural expression caught. Her look works well with the motion blur of her hands. I do wish her left hand had been captured in its entirety. The depth of field works well and I like the rim lighting. The lighting on her face could have shown a bit more contour.

Heee.. recognition..! Yes, I also did visit before. Seeing this image I thought: "wrestler". Later noticing we are speaking about a lady, I didn't write it down. However young men, take care..! By these special characters the world is still going..! Fantastic portrait sir..! The hands are fine, all is that hair and look!
