Really like this Supra 800 -- Scans very clean.This is obviously a long exposure, and I tried to zoom while the subject approached the camera to keep him as defined as possible, which worked pretty well I think.

Should I be aiming more in front of the subject when practicing my

panning techniques? I've tended to keep the subject in the

viewfinder, which looks good at the time the action happens, but then

wondered if I should have kept him/her off to the side, so that more

of the trail lies ahead: But the trail isn't clearly defined in a

panning shot like this.

 

Advice? Thanx!
