Fascinating image, and the same for your other upload... I have a question though... With all these beautiful textures and an Hasselblad, why didn't you opt for absolute sharpness...? That's something I would personally regret.

As for the light, I feel the shadow on the wall is ok, but I would have imagine more topish side lighting coming from the left. The brightest part of the wall a bit darker would also attract less attention. Still, I like it very much. Regards.

I scanned the polaroid 6x6 in advance of the real negatives who are scanned with a new flextight (not mine)to reveal ALL the details, I hope to upload them wednesday. This is part of a series that will be exhibited in Brussels as an 'hommage' to Jan Saudek.

I like more the other one, but this is very good as well. I think that the lack of sharpness is a goos option, it bothers me her shadow on the wall, it does not play well with the fussy look and overall lack of sharpness. Anyhow a very good photo. Keep showing.

I very much admire your creativity as evinced by this folder. I commented yesterday on another in the series, there I mentioned I would prefer the greys to be burned down a bit; here I think they're just right - but I did like the idea of that doll flying through the air, it really stressed your vision.

On the down side, I don't think the softness contributes to the mood in this instance. It can do - but not here, not for me. This leads me to ask the question : is the focus issue intentional, or a result of compression?

Regardless, I feel inspired by this even though I have yet to develop my own form of digital art. Cheers.

I like the slight toning of this one, better tahn the others (the grey makes them a bit cold). Agree about the lack of sharpness and the dust on the left...
