Impressive subject, excellent composition, good exposure with the right amount of flowing of the waterfall, not to silky smooth. Great work Baldur.

Maybe a slightly faster or slower shutterspeed would have given the water nicer texture, I think it´s slightly off but very nice, I have to go there in the winter sometime.

Thank you Larus for your comment. Perhaps and perhaps not. You really should go there one day because you have some very good shots of some of the icelandic waterfalls.

Planning to go soon, perhaps now in february, I have been there a couple of times and it´s one of my favorites. For instance I got one shot taken through the waterfall (you can see it in my "waterfalls" folder) but I have never been there in the winter time.

Perhaps it´s time I uploaded a new version of that shot, I have on my personal webpage under "fossar" but I haven´t bothered with doing the same here.

Allavega væri ég alveg til í að kíkja með þér einhverntímann, endilega sendu mér póst ef þig vantar ferðafélaga, alltaf ódýrara að skipta bensínkostnaði.

The comment on your image from Palmi Einarsson was helpful. I´m going to take a look at your personal web page. Þakka þer fyrir, eg geri þad.

Hi Baldur,

Great to see this winter shot of Seljalandsfoss!

I visited your country this summer and hope to be able to come back this winter to see this wonderful landscape with my own eyes (and camera!).

Best regards,
