billangel 9,671 Posted February 7, 2003 Excellent depiction of falcon about to perch. In my opinion, the image would be a bit stronger if the camera's point of view were somewhat to the right, and a bit lower down. One way this might be accomplished would be to mount the camera directly under the perch (or below the falconer's arm) and fire the shutter remotely as the bird was landing. In other words, the viewer would be able to look directly into the bird's eyes as it was perching. (I hope that my remarks don't sound too much like "art direction", rather than a photo critique.)
