More than 6 in originality ??? Even I have a shot like that somewhere, Mark ! :-)) Ok, mine isn't half that beautiful, but it is composed the same way... and most people have their version, I believe. Since it isn't especially difficult to take either, I'm wondering what this originality rating means at all... Oh, well... Still a wonderful shot. Maybe the ground could be a bit darker and possibly blurer, but that's about it. Colors are great really. Cheers.

that colors ... did you work it the same way as on your macro shots? it is almost a tick too much for me, but it's definitely a wonder shot!

That is really a beautiful bird with sparkling colours. It is nice to capture it in lenses, rather than capturing in cages.

It's great to see you photographing something besides the insects that you have mastered. (those are some of my favorite shots on photo.net.) Is there sharpening of the green plumage behind the bird's torso. It looks strange.
