bentes_world 0 Posted January 29, 2003 Are you shure this is from Paris? Looks very much like " Amalienborg" the residence of the danish queen - and with the "Marble-church" in the back-ground. Amalienborg is the Royal Family's residence in Copenhagen. The four, very similar Rococo palaces surround Amalienborg Square with Saly's equestrian statue as the centrepiece. Christian VII's Palace is used by H.M. the Queen for State occasions and as a guest residence for foreign heads of state. The Palace was reinaugurated in 1996 following extensive restoration, and when circumstances permit, the lavish Rococo interiors are open for guided tours in July and during autumn half-term. The Amalienborg museum is located in Christian VIIIs Palace and guided tours will on occasion be available in the bel étage above the museum. The Amaliehaven gardens were inaugurated in 1983. The photos of the same Amalienborg are not mine. Link to comment
bentes_world 0 Posted January 29, 2003 Here is another photo showing "The Marble-Church" which is to be seen on your photo in the upper right corner. PS. I like your photo. Link to comment
nomade 1 Posted February 1, 2003 maybe you should retry this with another subject (even the same one), but nearer to the camera. Link to comment
mauricio_jos__schwarz 0 Posted February 17, 2003 Probably wrong category, but great geomtric capture. The bicicle works fine to break the symmetry. Link to comment
