jed goode 0 Posted May 24, 2001 I love the pose and expression you have captured, but, in terms of the image as a whole, the model is somewhat lost and unbalanced (even with your signature on the other side). Personally, I think that the background colour is terrible and really spoils the potential of the image. It would be interesting to see the original image as taken to be able to better judge the manipulated version you have presented. It would also be interesting to know what your intention was in manipulating the image in this way. Link to comment
fernando 0 Posted May 25, 2001 I show you the original image. If you go to my webpage ( http://www.canariastelecom.com/personales/fegovi/ ) in the section antes y despues (before and after) you can see anothers examples of wild and manipulated photografies. Answering your question, realy my only intention manipulating the images is experimental. I ask myself how many images are there in a image... hundreds, thousands? So, during the process there is not a absoluted preconceived plan, only a light idea, and the final result often is a surprise for myself. Regards. Fernando Link to comment

craig_alexander 0 Posted June 23, 2001 This is a sublime image of a beautiful woman. The delicate coloring adds to the interest. The photographer should be congratualted. Link to comment
jason c wu 0 Posted July 19, 2001 i thought your picture was great, and then i saw the original and i think, wow, what a great job bringing out the delicate lines of her face! i love what you did with the original image. would you mind sharing what you did? Link to comment
charnsak 0 Posted July 21, 2001 Sometimes, people are being too fixated on objectives of photos (refer to Jed Goode's comment above). As we all know, photography is a form of art that an artist may do whatever necessary to create a visual treat he or she sees fit. And this is exactly what Fernando did to creat this art piece. Well done. Link to comment
johnanewton 0 Posted July 27, 2001 I am sorry to say that I do dislike this picture, I had to rate it 5 and 5 but disimbodied heads really do nothing for me, the overall colouring of this shot makes me think of tea stain or pea soup. Pictures of women if cropped should not include masses of empty space. An Unreal photo like this misses some other object in the picture, I Found this soul-less (sorry!) Link to comment
g._patrick_barr 0 Posted August 28, 2001 Nice shot of the model, and a lovely model she is, lovely Spanish Eyes(like the old song goes) The background color is ghastly, however. Red would have been my pick. Link to comment
mg 0 Posted March 18, 2002 Interesting and a very beautiful pose too... I can't rate this image as it is, simply because I have a personal problem with the color you chose. This isn't an objective critique at all, so don't listen to me on that one... :-) But I would be happy to see the same shot and the same effect with a very different color ? Is it worth a try ?...
