Moody Blues

Jeri, clicking through today's ho-hum submissions in the gallery, this image stopped me, first by curiosity and I lingered, taken in by what appeared at first to be an astrophotography subject, but then perhaps a look at earth from above. The combination of hues and saturation kept my eye for a while longer finally realizing your subject. The course my mind had to take as well as arrangement of elements in the image make for a sort of haiku with the mind taking that leap needed in successful haikus. Excellent image.
