Follow My Lead..

Is it the compression of the file? I have emailed this photo and

uploaded thru p/n. Help.

I can't tell you what is wrong, but I can tell you that I have uploaded some stuff that looked pretty nice on my comoputer, but something happened when it got to Pnet. This is a 72ppi file, and I assume that's what it was when you uploaded it. But when Pnet's software displays it, I'm not sure what happens. I do know that I seem to have more trouble if there is more detail and edges in the photo. The two portraits that are presently on my home page look much nicer on my computer than they do on Pnet. I am wondering if it's all the detail in the dress that suffers from the compression.

 

This is not much help, but just to let you know you are not alone.

I wonder if it has to do with lighting. THis is a dark shot. I did fool with the contrast a little. Oh well, I like it anyway!.

Janis, I think it has a little of compression effects. But also, it seems to have some color noise, which is really not helping. But the display problem is likely not really caused by that noise. I like the idea here and your title is important. Maybe I'm slow today, but I would maybe not have get the meaning of the photo without the title.

Regardless of the technical, it's still a pretty humorous title (concept).
