corbin 0 Posted March 31, 2006 Nice detail on the hub, nice contrast, a bit soft on the edges, but it caught my eye, and that's what counts. Link to comment
jlt 0 Posted April 1, 2006 Thanks for stopping by and commenting. Yes the edges are a little soft. I noticed this when I uploaded it but I didn't take the time to sharpen the edges which would probably have enhanced the shot a little. Regards: Jeri Link to comment
paula grenside 0 Posted April 6, 2006 I like the angle, how the wheels results inclined. Really a pity the soft edges, but the shot is good and well rendered in B&W. Link to comment
ryan mcgill - trm photo st 0 Posted April 6, 2006 Jeri, This is an interesting take on an "Old Wagon Wheel Hub". You have some nice PS work. You did cut out the background, rhight? One recomendation it to increase the feathering when clipping on the sections that are less in focus. For instance the far right spoke's edge is very sharp. I believe if the edges were "fuzzy" it would look less PhotoShopped. Of course, for the sections closer to focus need to have less feathering. Still a great capture! Happy Shooting!
