Self portrait as an aspiring canadian contemporary artist

I staged this one all alone, focusing on a target where I expected to seat, with a shorter lens to increase DOF, a window and a cardboard reflector as a light source and my camera self timer as an assistant. Exposure: 1/2 s @ f/8. Cropped to about 80% of original size. Souped in Rodinal 1+50. Tripod + timer. Uploaded January 23, 2003.

Just in case someone wonders, the man on the book cover is the late canadian photographer Yusuf Karsh, as shot by another photographer about 20 years ago.
