hayward 0 Posted January 24, 2003 You have a great portfolio with a good many shots - like this one - that could have been ordinary, but have been made memorable. The way the wings are whirling is terrific - definitely a keeper. Link to comment
seven 0 Posted January 25, 2003 Excellent photograph - I'm envious. The backlighting has given you much more contrast than one would suppose is generally available. You "got away" with a slow shutter - and more : the blur lending wonderful motion (did someone mention Dervishes?) And to top it, the field depth is just perfect with the relatively neutral split bg. Not that important, but for interest's sake - do you recall shutter speed? Link to comment
norman_roberts 0 Posted January 25, 2003 I think this is one of the best in your portfolio because of the movement and action. It's also well composed. When you you have a chance would you please email me to describe your pitblind. Thanks (ntrphotog@aol.com) Link to comment
seven 0 Posted January 27, 2003 Kevin, thanks again for your email. I mentioned a presentation of mine that included a list of "favourite photographers" - here's the link. Regards. Link to comment
