dabar 0 Posted October 29, 2009 Hi Joanie! What a nice portrait of a gorgeous model. However... I do have a couple of nit-picks...The obvious redness in the eyes and the lack of sharpness of those same striking eyes. I was also bothered by the dark shadow, or whatever, in her right nostril. So... I spent a couple of minutes ''fixing'' those items ;-))Just my 'perfectionist' bent in action... You may well have been going for the Soft-N-Natural Look... Link to comment

dreamer_guy 0 Posted November 1, 2009 Although I can see that two lights were used for this shot, it appears that both lights were both set to the same output, as there is absolutely no form (shadow) to the face. I would have used much more moodier lighting for this. Pull back (or power down) your fill light at least 2 stops (possibly three). Also, the second catch light in the model's right eye should be retouched out. Her lips also appear rather dry ... tell her to lick her lips next time, or use a small amount of lip gloss. All in all this is much too stark to be be considered a good portrait. Link to comment
