Duck flying over iced lake

Technically, it has shortcomings, the exposure & the sharpness. Artistically or emotionally who cares, it's great!

If it isn't manipulated, very good catch.

The reflection is far from the same as the duck's image so I would have to say it was not manipulated. Awesome catch!

No manipulations except a bit of cropping and sharpness. I was talked into uploading it, it's not one of my personal favorites, but obviously I have things to learn about how other people view photos. Thanks for your comments (and ratings :-) everyone and I may just let the same person talk me into uploading a couple of more duck shots. I have a lot of them since I live nearby the lake where this one was taken.

This is one of those photos that makes you go "oooh" when you first see it, but upon continued examination, you start to reassess.

 

As with the blind photographer, I concur about the technical shortcomings - unfortunately, they drive me to distraction. More unfortuantely still is that the duck appears to be, how shall I say this, relieving itself? Nonetheless, a nice capture, and certainly a keeper, but not wall material.

This is a great shot. The feeling of motion, the colors in the duck, and the framing are all great. The only negative I can find is the white streak in front of the duck, but that's a nit. Nice job.
