Christal1664882414 0 Posted November 8, 2009 Despite your admitted hotspots, I still think this is a strong image. The front looks rather harsh and linear with layers, and then the back has a softness to counter balance. Also, this one has a lovely glow of highlights on a couple of the golden trees, which I think you lose with the more painterly feel of your other shot. You have some wonderful colors going on, and I'll bet this would be a grand place to shoot some micro-scapes when the water freezes over. Link to comment
david_l._forney 0 Posted November 8, 2009 I like the effect you created, Pamela. It's a wonderful time of year for shots like this and this is a beautiful capture. David Link to comment
squiver 0 Posted November 10, 2009 Nice shot Pamela. I like the straight line of water and the wonderful color above it. My only nit concerns the rocks/clutter in the foreground - I'd prefer to see either much more of it or nothing at all. Hope that makes sense. Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted November 23, 2009 Beautiful scenery and a beautiful composed image of it as well. Great true warm colors and super detailed due to the sharpness. The running water adds a lot to the total impression and atmosphere. Great work from you Pamela. Take good care my dear friend and all the best from Jannica Link to comment

harlequin 0 Posted November 27, 2009 Interesting shot. I like the way the waterfall/spillway almost becomes a strutural object. Nice colors in the trees and good focus. well done. - Charles Link to comment
steveshinn 0 Posted November 28, 2009 Hard to pick between the two. The tree colors are magnificent and you've gone spot on with the lighting there. Like others, I'm a little distracted by the linearity.. if you will, which is both interesting and confounding at the same time. Beautiful any way you look at it. Link to comment
jeverz 0 Posted November 29, 2009 Just beautiful Pamela! I like the colors a lot! Thank you very much for your comment! Link to comment
ndj 0 Posted December 5, 2009 Beautiful fall colors Pamela! This image is the clear winner as far as I'm concerned. I like the glow you've achieved in the foliage, and don't find the blown highlights in the water to be a problem. Good to see you experimenting lots, and this one is definitely a success. All the best,Neil Link to comment
scottsmorra 0 Posted December 28, 2009 Pamela. The background colors and the water cascading in the foreground work very well together. One small critique...the bright rocks at the very bottom of the image are a bit distracting and seem to draw my eye away from the rest of the photo. Overall this is a wonderful photo. - Scott Link to comment
