Donna Stavis 0 Posted November 1, 2009 The bird gives a solitary feel -- alone in immense space, but in nature, in his element, watchful for other life, edible life, I suppose. I like the lighting and the textures, as the vegetation would be crunchy and make cracking, swishing noises if one walked here, and the fog is dense, wet, the fence rough. It's a lovely, quiet shot. An exciting time of year really of transitions -- the seasons, the fence, perhaps migrations.... Link to comment

The water droplets on the grass were so lovely and delicate, like little jewels. You are so right about the sounds. I was drenched after crawling around in the grass. Link to comment
