Feels like a storybook etching/engraving. The sharpness of the detail and the idyllic quality offer a stark contrast. The strictness of the lineup of trees makes the randomness of the ducks wading by even more charming, their little corner of the lake, clean, pristine.

This is wonderful, Linda. The rich BW tones make the scene so interesting and elegant. I love the composition. I suspect most would choose color immediately, but you have a creative eye and found a better way to present this.
