Rocky Mountain Elk-Yellowstone National Park

This bull Elk was crossing the creek to defend his harem of 8 females

from a younger bull that was approaching from across the meadow.My

wife and I watched for over a half hour as the drama unfolded and the

bulls locked antlers in battle.Your comments are appreciated.

Great shot! I 'd like to see the locked horns battle. I recognize this bull from my trip last week by his broken horn on the left and the funny curve in his right front. Regards, Brad
