Wayne Sadler 738 Posted October 8, 2009 The world if not necessarily a chaotic or inartistic place, it is thinking that makes it so. Although I am particularly satisfied with my efforts at composition (thinking about the arrangement) and being privileged with coloration this simple scene provided, I must admit I can be delusional at times and the appeal may be little more than a 4/4 to many. I would appreciate any comments and critique. Link to comment
photo by patsy dunn 1 Posted October 8, 2009 Wayne, You are the only one I know that could make a great image from this. Love the colors. Great job. Patsy Link to comment
bg1 0 Posted October 12, 2009 Love the diagonal line and then the blue reflecting on the seed pods and fading to black in the upper left corner also, I detect a bit of the rust color in the seed pods about half-way down the right side of the photo--makes this a really nice two-tone (+black) composition. Great job! Link to comment
Wayne Sadler 738 Posted October 13, 2009 Thanks, Patsy and Becky. It helps to know if what I feel in an image resonates with anyone else. I think the diagonal sold me on the possible merits of this image and as you note, Becky, the coloration of the "weed" fascinated me. I know it is just nature doing its natural thing, but sometimes you sense how miraculous it is and are drawn to photograph it. Link to comment
thadley 15 Posted April 2, 2010 Initially I was concerned with some technical aspects but it continues to grow on me - well done! Link to comment
Wayne Sadler 738 Posted April 5, 2010 Thanks, Tony. Would those technical aspects relate to the focus? Link to comment
thadley 15 Posted October 16, 2012 It was related to the focus. THe major attraction for me is the background which I find to be superb. The background is represented by "diagonal triangles" with powder blue coloring which i find very attractive. Sorry for being so tardy on my response. I have trouble with Photonet giving me several '504 gateway errors" when i try and access the follow-ups on my comments and i run out of patience. Link to comment
