alison_denyer 0 Posted January 19, 2003 Good use of colour - the red towel is a real focus, but there is a large area in the right lower quadrant that adds nothing. Cropping some off the bottom, and more off the right side would improve this picture. Link to comment
mg 0 Posted January 20, 2003 Divine lighting here, and absolutely my cup of tea... Question: was the shoe really necessary ? Or could it have been pointed to the towel & the top left corner from the center of the highlight ? I'd say it would have been an imrovement. All else is great. Regards. Link to comment
peter_daalder 0 Posted January 21, 2003 Your caption fails to describe the tiled feature in the bottom left corner. Interesting image... The red towel certainly grabs the attention! Link to comment
touchel berne 0 Posted January 25, 2003 I think this is the strongest image in your folder. Yes, I think the sandles are necessary. Link to comment
jon_fernquest 0 Posted February 5, 2003 Everything in this shot was accident. My mother-in-law dropped her towel on her shoes outside the bathroom. I saw the red towel, all the angles, the cheap linoleum, and the sunlight streaming in, I took shot after shot with my digital, until all of a sudden a cloud passed over the sun and suddenly the light pouring through the window died down and took on a very soft quality. This shot makes realize that it is the little, unrecognized things in life that are often the most beautiful. Link to comment
jeff_oxford 0 Posted July 9, 2003 Fabulous image. For me, everything in this picture "speaks". The strongest image is the red towel, but just as strong are the two shoes. The shoes let you know you are dealing with an asian culture here, as well as the (what I assume to be) wash basin where the shoes are stepping away from. Someone has left the wash basin, and dropped the towel. The red contrast makes this image striking. Even the chip in the tiling tells a story about the setting. Marvelous image. Link to comment
