However, the gold/red pillow still seems distracting. Better with just white, denim and her red lingerie. Sort of makes a statement for Red, White and Blue.

Was the white over processed a bit? Maybe try softening and less darkening. And I personally would be unhappy with the legs falling off that much.

Maybe a little more warm glow from the lamp in the upper left corner. The bedding comes off too gray (don't want to say "dirty".)

You have a good eye. You are right that I over processed the white sheets and pillows, while I was trying to create some contrast there. I will have to fix that. I also agree that the yellow and red pillow is distracting. In hind sight, the red, white and blue theme would have worked beautifully.
