Quite a scene with the snow there on those beautiful peaks. White clouds bring the first light on these peaks little late, at least in the summer I remember. Wish there was more orange or red on those peaks. Composition is pretty good, and you tried to add many elements.

Nice shot again.

Charles - Beautiful shot framed naturally with the two trees. A difficult exposure handled very well. I'm unsure if you used a grad ND filter, or blended exposures, but the lower part of the left tree has more detail than the upper portion. I might have expected similar amounts of exposure. The tree to the far right looks evenly exposed in relation to the scene. I might try to pull out a little more detail in the shadows of the upper portion of the left tree by "developing" the raw file again. Just a thought. This is a minor nit, as the image as a whole is stunning.

I appreciate the great comments and especially the helpful criticism. The only filter used for this image was a polarizer. Sometimes the lighting plays into your hand. It is possible that difference in lighting Harry, is the change in tree angle catching some reflection off of the lake. I did try adjusting the raw file some to give it some more detail and I lost a lot of contrast. It could be a matter of my Photoshop abilities. Thanks for stopping by. Charles

Breathtaking!

You have beautifully captured this area. I love the lighting on the mountains and the reflection. 7/7 for this one. Very well done.
