bruno_lombard1 0 Posted October 3, 2009 The light lasted only about 15 minutes... the sky is not well treated... how could I have improved it ? thanks in advance for any advice... Link to comment
alton 0 Posted October 4, 2009 I guess the obvious answer is to treat the sky. I selected it, did a Levels, and it seemed to do well. I further darkened it with a gradient but kept the gradient off the rock. I next did a gradient on the bottom because the water is a bit blown out. Seemed to me to improve things a bit, but the horizon went blackish. Nice shot as it, and if you took it in raw format you will be able to bring it out. Link to comment
celasun 0 Posted November 4, 2009 How about the attached one?The list of my manipulations is below:Darkened the sky a bit.Tried to recover some detail at the blown out parts.Applied a slight Gaussian blur to the lover part of the sky.Increased the overall contrast a bit.Downsized and slightly sharpened using USM.
