witness 0 Posted October 2, 2009 Great pattern and color. I would go for perfect symmetry by straightening all lines and eliminating the tilt. This would initially create a stronger mystery and interest IMO. Link to comment
serocchio 0 Posted October 3, 2009 The sunset lights are giving some amazing beauty for a very crowded place! Well done! Link to comment
robwilson 0 Posted October 5, 2009 This reminds me a little of some of the amazing work of Andreas Gursky. If you're not familiar with him, have a search on the webby. This is a very interesting picture with a lot to like about it. I think it could be improved in a couple of ways. I think that some adjustment on the horizontal plane would be useful (I think my terminology is right!?!?!?!). The left hand side of the picture seems further away than the right. If you used something like Silkypix, you could soon level it up. Equally, I would love to see a little human interest in the shot. If you had a single person standing on a balcony, this picture would reach a whole new level. Anyway, that's just my 2p worth. Please don't think for a second that I think this is a bad shot; it isn't. This is a very cool picture and I like it a lot, but with a couple of added elements I think it would be excellent. I hope that is useful and constructive! All the best, Rob Link to comment
dragan425 0 Posted October 5, 2009 Thank you everybody about your comments. It meen a lot to me. So some explanations. I took this photo from the oposit building from a flat that is not in the middle of the building, that is why the right side is neer to me. I don't know about the program to correct this difference but I'll try with something that I have and if I achieve better results I'll upload another version of it. About a person on the balcony I agree. That would have been great. Unfortunately I didn't thought about it at that time :((( I just saw the colors and took my camera. I've never herd about Andreas Gursky but I'll look it in internet right away. Thank you for the suggestion. Link to comment
dragan425 0 Posted October 5, 2009 So an hour of tutorials and I think I succeeded in correcting the tilt. What do you mean? Link to comment
