jerrymat 5 Posted September 30, 2009 The pose is fine; it is the window that is doing nothing for the composition. Think of it this way: every picture tells a story. Ask yourself what is the sentence that states the basic premise of the story? How does the window fit that story? If the window were not here would the story be stronger? clemsonguy 0 Posted September 30, 2009 @Jerry I think your point is well taken. I never really thought about it until you mentioned it, but I find the window a bit distracting. Unfortunately, the window is a victim of circumstance. The model was merely sitting in front of it when she posed for this particular shot. I tend to be a little free wheeling during shoots and try not dictate too much to the model. I may make suggestions, but I try to give them the freedom to pose how the feeling strikes them. I truly thank you for your insights. Cheers Dan Link to comment
je ne regrette rien 67 Posted October 13, 2009 The pose is plastic and attractive, the tones fit. The framing is good. There is something blurred about the right foot and I definitely would try to make the window frame square Link to comment
