Guest Guest Posted January 17, 2003 Erm, what exactly is going on here? It looks like a fairly average wildlife photo that has then, for no explicable reason been photoshopped. What were you hoping to acheive from this? Nice play on words with the title though. Link to comment
bigtime 0 Posted January 20, 2003 Duck blind? Get it? I'm sure this was your every day run of the mill ducky shot, and then David PS'd the blind effect. I think this is hilarious! Well done, nice pun/play on words. It's obvious some one has a sense of humor, this is quite a refreshing idea. Photography doesn't always have to be painfully stuffy and unflexible, I think this is a breath of fresh air. I'm just discovering the endless possibilities of digital art and this just proves again that creativity knows no boundary. Duck blind indeed. Sometimes you just do it because you can. With the digital dark room, the sky's the limit.Quack, quack, too funny. Cheers! Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted January 20, 2003 Ok, being a Brit, i haven't heard the expression Duck blind before. Still, although it makes more sense, i stick to my original point that it, was just a 'run of the mill' photo of a duck that once again photoshop hasnt been able to make that interesting. Some of the rest of your portfolio is outstanding, particularly the 'cemetery' shot. Link to comment
david_stevens 0 Posted January 21, 2003 Big Time, thank you for the nice comments. As you can see I was going with a play on words. I actually think my original shot of the duck was pretty good in my humble opinion. :-) Richard, as I told you before I dont mind the low rating as long as I get some feedback so I can learn to improve, thanks for taking the time to comment. bigbikefan 0 Posted February 2, 2003 To me it looks like a hint to the windows plastic shade manufacturers to produce something different than just plain white, blue or pink shades. M-m-m, I mean, blinds. Link to comment
