Oleg,

She is a very pretty girl. I think you have focused well on her eyes. It is hard to tell because that area is a little dark. The light coming from behind her is very nice, but there is spill on her nose. You also have her arms up so that they are being lit by the back light. If you make her face as light as it should be, to be properly exposed, her nose and her arms will be overexposed.

It would also be nice to have catch lights in her eyes to make them come alive. You want to make sure the whites of her eyes are white. The background is quite out of focus which allows her to become the focus of attention -- good. In the lower left corner is a railing that looks out of place.

Do not pose your subject straight on to the camera. This is not a very feminine pose. Showing your subject’s widest areas (shoulder to shoulder or hip to hip) makes those areas appear wide. Your subject will appear thinner, more feminine and more graceful if turned at an angle to the camera. The lines you see from the side have more apparent motion, interest and grace.

Be careful of foreshortening. Watch for anything closer to the camera than the body. Feet, knees, hands, elbows and shoulders will look out of proportion (larger than normal -- foreshortened) to the rest of the body, if they are in front of the body. Her left elbow and arm draw attention away from her face because it is lighter than her face, so much skin is showing and her elbow appears to be turned toward the camera.

Her hands up to her hair makes for an awkward pose. It doesn't look natural. She looks posed. She does have good eye contact with the camera (viewer), but her expression is not communicating with the viewer. She looks quite bored. Because all the other tones are so subdued, her purple top really draws my attention away from her face.

Nice shot,

Mark

I think it's a very nice shot. I disagree with many of the previous comments... not every shot of an attractive girl has to be a fine art shot. I believe the face can be lightened in post with success.

My criticism lies in the over-sharpening with high-pass filter. A strong halo primarily around the arms is distracting. I would like to play with this image if you'd be interested in sending me the original file without corrections? Anyway...pretty good shot IMO.
