pietje 0 Posted September 29, 2009 Hi Henry, You have a very fine growing porfolio with wonderfull landscapes, wel composed, and in very expressive colorful presentation. This image is in my opinion more apealing than his twin, and shows much more clarity. However I would sugest to do something to the obvious different colorrange between the lower part and the upper part to make it realy outstanding and in balance. No cheap critique I assure, just my personal opinion ... in wich I can be wrong of course .. in that case, my apologies. Piet Link to comment
henrylw 0 Posted September 29, 2009 Thank you Piet for your detailed comment. Yes I agree. There is slight color difference between sky and its mirror in water. I used Lee 2 stop hard nd grad on above water line of the frame. I think the color difference was probably caused by the filter, but they say this filter is color neutral. :( Link to comment

vrankin 1,339 Posted December 30, 2009 I'm transformed by viewing this astonishingly beautiful work, Henry. 7/7. Thank you! Link to comment
patrick_joseph 0 Posted December 30, 2009 It looked really good at first glance; then I noticed the colour mismatch and then realised something about the reflection wasn't quite right. The problem for me is that added reflections never look believable because of the perspective irregularities. . . I'd like to see the original shot for comparison! Link to comment
guyvickers 0 Posted November 12, 2011 Henry, I love your work. I see you can get a custom graduated filter from Robert White U.K that is a combo 81 series at the lower half and Neutral density at the top half, your choise of strength and transition. one of these would possibly warm up the foregraound to make the colours match. thanks, Guy Link to comment
