Clever, Kani, to combine the sharp object with the moving water. Maybe a tripod was used, and a filter for the background and sky? Maybe a composite? Regardless, it has an engaging surrealistic feel and who knows what the next wave brings.

I have a question. I've tried shots in the sand / waves before and my tripod always wants to continually settle in the sand as the waves come and go. How do you stabilize your tripod? Thanks

I try to put the legs of the tripod as deep as possible in the sand to keep the stability. Anyway, the object moves, the tripod position changes.. therefore, it is needed to try always to keep it stable. It is easy. By the way, you are a very successful photographer, you have beautiful photos in your portfolio. Thank you for your attention to my photo.
