Sergey, I am not sure what you mean by "infrared" in your title. Do you mean the model is getting a sun tan? As far as I know cameras are not sensitive to infrared wavelengths of light.

You do have a problem with too much contrast. Her skin is washed out and the water behind and the shadows are too dark. Are you using jpeg or camera raw file? Using the second will give you all kinds of ways to adjust the picture that the jpeg will not.

Hi Jerry.

By infrared, i mean that this photo was taken on infrared film...which is sensitive to infrared and visible wavelength of light.....

To be precise, it's a Kodak EIR Aerochrome. Color infrared slide film....

I used Rolleicord and orange filter......Several filters(like orange, yellow, red, infrared and i guess even more..) can be applied to get different effects.... And effects can be spectacular!!! For instance, green turns red with orange filter and so on..

There is also B&W infrared photography.....

For digital cameras: infrared filters can be used to get this effects..And i believe some adjustments in camera settings...I don't yet use digital. So about camera settings and technical side of it in digital cameras, can't tell i know enough....

There are peoples that use digital to create pictures with infrared effect!.....I saw more then a few photographers on P.N that shoot in infrared....with digital......I am sure there must be a forum somewhere on that theme on P.N or elsewhere.....Check it out if you're curios about it..

But nevertheless, thanks for your advise...I'll check those contrasts....No offence, but i've got impression from your comment that you didn't fully understand it???????....

Regards.......Sergey
