I love the reflective surface you are using here - I gather it's the black acrylic you mentioned in your blog? I'm just really starting to get into studio lighting the past couple of years and have a lot to learn.

Yep, black acrylic. Eats a lot of light, but provides a "magic" reflective surface.

No, the reflection here is an actual reflection from a piece of shiny black acrylic plex. No Photoshop at all.
