Cropped version of a previous post. Do you think this makes for a

stronger image? Thanks for any comments/critiques.

This image commands my attention more than the other one. At first, I was wondering if the animal was alive or mounted (before I saw the uncropped version). Nice photo!

Yea I think you're right Jerry, and I had not thought of it looking like it was mounted, also true. I wish there had been more light on the neck...

Thanks Erik. It was shot at the DC zoo. I took it several stops underexposed, which made the already shadowed background totally black in the final image.
