mg 0 Posted January 19, 2003 This is (again) extremely well done, and real fun to me. The title and the way the animal are "acting" around the frame leave no questions as for what's going on this time, and I really like the result. Only one little thing bothers me in the composition, and that would the position of the dog in the frame in front. I feel the dog is great itself but somehow blocks our entry in the depth of the background. Maybe no dog at all was fine, or maybe the dog could be placed in front of the right side of the fruits. Another possibility, depending on whether or not you have more space available on the right of the frame - i.e if this was cropped on the right -, would be to have dog, flipped, at the extreme right of the image, looking in the viewer's direction...Different issue now: I feel a bit more space at the bottom and possibly just at tad less at the top would be slightly better...I'd be curious to read your opinion on the above, and glad to have your opinion, if possible, on my "Digitally Manipulated photographs" folder. I am miles away from your technical mastery, and have been photoshopping only for a bit more than 3 years, so I probably could learn a lot from you, and would be glad to do so. Don't be worried about being harsh when needed - all I'd like is to understand what I am not doing right.Best regards. Link to comment
