Lovely to hear from you Diego.....your comments warm my heart...but still urge me to 'aspire' to higher heights.........perhaps one day I just may surprise myself...however, I don't think such 'venues' as Venice and the beatiful destinations you visit will be my good fortune. But I shall be pleased enough if I acquire the level of expertise that you so brilliantly display on PN...........many thanks dear friend, Gail

Your generous critiques are so very appreciated and 'spur me on to do much better'.........I'm online for a bit to 're - obtain' a bit of sanity'...........this moving is not fun any more...............I must be getting 'old'............but it is a task that is essential...I'm fortunate to be online at all. Bad storms where we are moving have left my parents without power since 1:30 pm on Monday and the lights may not go on till Tuesday morning. I sure hope it doesn't rain on our Moving Day!!! Tnks so much for your Visits!!!......Gail

Hi Gail:

Hope the move is going well.

I agree with some this is definitely a really moody shot. I really like the colours. As well I like the the juxtaposition of the lace and the iron. A very odd pairing, would you say: but beautiful none the less.

Take care and have a great Weekend.

Jill

Is this one at Lantern's Inn as well? Now that I look closer, probably not. It has a much more interesting feelo as an arcitectural shot than the entry way. Nice treatment and crop. Well done. - Charles

Very sorry I missed this one, it is not at Lantern Inn, but Docville, the movie set.
