amolkhedgikar 0 Posted October 12, 2009 I work as a Field biologist. I resumed active duty after a gap in Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve (TATR) in central India. and was yearning for the sight of the great cat. A few days ago I picked up a fresh trail and started following her on foot at close quarters. It took me far from the safety of the vehicle as always. The pug mark trail ended abruptly on a sand bed and I found myself in the middle of a very thick canopy with nothing but bamboo around. I had no doubt she watching me. I could feel her eyes on me but couldn't see her. It was an eerie feeling. I saw something flick from the corner of my left eye. It took me some time to realize what I was looking at. Finally what I saw was this and it was almost the jungle's way to welcome me back in the wild. Link to comment
