Counting for hide-and-seek

In the Pelourinho neighborhood of Salvador de Bahia, late evening, a

kid counts for his game of hide-and-seek under the light of a lamp

The cleaning man is such a strong image that I lost the point of the kid's counting. Notice that between the boy, there is the cleaning man in red and on the opossite side there is the yellow garbage can...Too much distraction. I confes to have made the same mistake over and over again, particularly in Latin America, where I am from, where there is "so many people."
